The children of Tender Love Orphan Care are a beautiful reminder that every child is deeply loved and seen by God. Many of these precious children have faced hardship, loss, and uncertainty, yet they continue to shine with resilience, joy, and hope. Through the love, care, and support provided by Tender Love Orphan Care and partnering with Journey Community Church, they are given not only shelter and education, but also the opportunity to experience the compassion of Christ and the promise of a brighter future. Scripture reminds us in James 1:27 that, Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress, and Psalm 82:3 calls believers to Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.

Tender Love is currently the home of 42 children. These children have lost their families and would be living on the streets without Tender Love. This orphanage is run by a local Ugandan husband and wife who love Jesus and have fully surrendered to His plan for them. They are not financially able to care for these children on their own. They rest in their faith and assurance of their calling for the provision to care for the children He brings to their doorstep. Through our ministry we can help support the needs of Tender Love by providing shelter, food, clothing, shoes, medical needs, school tuition, bedding, and more! You can be an anonymous supporter, or you can sponsor a specific child (or children) and connect with them through letters and messaging.

These children are not forgotten  they are cherished by God, created with purpose, and surrounded by a community across the globe committed to showing them the enduring love of Jesus every single day.
